The works comprised the demolition and strip out of exiting club shop and creation of new 700 person fan bar over a fast track 10-week programme during the closed season. The works were required to be carried out in conjunction with the clubs off-season fixtures and events.

We created a new social environment within the world famous The Kop which included the design, supply and installation of a bespoke bar, separate bottle bar, beer cellar and new entertainment area. We carried out the complete refurbishment of the area including new partitions, decorations, finishes and mechanical and electrical services.

Rayner Rowen successfully managed and delivered the project in accordance with the client programme despite substantial delays due to asbestos and other unknowns being encountered on the project.

Rayner Rowen worked nights and weekends and brought in additional resources to meet the client deadline to ensure the club could have the facility open in time for important events, in particular the new season. This proactive approach has enabled us to secure other projects with this client notably the Parents Pavilion new build project at Liverpool Football Club’s Academy Complex.
