Extension and refurbishment secured for The Olive School in Bolton

Rayner Rowen Construction have secured the contract to extend and refurbish The Olive School in Bolton for Star Academies and the Department of Education. The school is currently temporarily operating out of the ground and first floors of Ashton House but is to extend onto the second floor to accommodate an additional 120 pupils. The contract will provide additional teaching facilities for the children, offices for the teachers and staff, a new commercial kitchen and external fencing and gates. The contract is due to commence in July 2019 and complete ready for the new school term in September 2019.

Jonathan Rayner, Director of Rayner Rowen Construction said,

“We are delighted to have secured our second contract with the Department of Education, Star Academies and Mott MacDonald following the completion of The Olive School in Preston in 2018. The expansion on to the second floor of Ashton House will provide further facilities for the school to provide a fantastic education to even more children in the local community. We are proud to have been chosen to deliver this scheme and continue our association with the Olive Schools”
