Rayner Rowen Construction appointed by Saracens RFC for West Stand

Rayner Rowen Construction are delighted to have been appointed by Saracens RFC for the redevelopment of their existing West Stand at the StoneX Stadium in Hendon, London.

The £20million project involves the demolition of the existing stand, design and construction of the new West Stand to accommodate 2,946 spectators (including 40No. wheelchair spaces) and provide areas to Saracens RFC’s tenant Middlesex University on the various floors.

The new West Stand will seek to optimise the multi-functional role of performing as both the home of one Europe’s top rugby clubs but also as a top quality multi-functional athletics, educational, sports, events and community facility.

Jonathan Rayner, Director at Rayner Rowen Construction said “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Saracens RFC and everyone connected with the club on this prestigious project.”

“The new West Stand will add to the excellent facilities already in place at the StoneX Stadium and will no doubt act as a catalyst for further success both on and off the field.”

“We are looking forward to working with Employers Agent and Quantity Surveyor Robinson Low Francis, Architect WMA Architects, Structural Engineer CSP London and our MEP Services contractor West Lancashire Group on this fantastic project”.

The project commenced in February 2021 and will complete in May 2022.
